DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Communicate with factories on a daily basis regarding any assigned
customer testing or quality issues.
2. Work with factories / product development on all fabric /trim
development testing prior to commits
3. Work with Delta quality management on developing new protocols
for testing of products and processes as required or assigned
4. Identify potential below standard performing items and apply for
exemptions or acceptance prior to production beginning.
5. Review with Delta quality management and apply for overrides if
found during production
6. Communicate with production, sales and senior management on
potential and current quality issues as they arise
7. Manage quality issues with factories and customers' QC groups on
failed or questioned results
8. Create and approve care and content labels for regulatory
compliance; make adjustments and corrections with the factories,
labs and accounts as necessary, review price tickets for accuracy
9. Manage all children’s testing to ensure product meets all regulatory
requirements
10. Manage invoicing and payments for testing with labs and factories
11. Track all testing against QLT charts and required dates on calendars
12. Work directly with QA teams in Asia
13. Maintain Files of testing reports according to standards
14. Develop and approve tracking labels
15. Establish and maintain a working relationship with customer’s
online accounts
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
1. Fluent spoken and written English necessary
2. Strong understanding of US regulations regarding labeling,
CPSIA requirements.
3. Experience in garment production
